Art Friend

I want to comment other than the vast materials this store carries, the staff there are 1 of the best I have come across! My husband & I visited them on the evening of 7th Aug. All staff was attentive without getting too clingy. They gave you space, and it is never hard to call any of them for help. And I appreciate the service, especially the product knowledge each 1 of them has. It's refreshing, and I am always looking forward to visiting them in the future ❤️ Ps: special thanks to the two ladies that helped us load our stuff into our transport. Albeit they were already leaving work for home.

Went there to buy items for my organisation's event. Lady who showed me where the items I needed were knew the large shop like the back of her hand. Shop is well-stocked, neatly arranged, and very peaceful. Payment counter was blocked off with two rather large 'COUNTER CLOSED' signs. When I was looking for a place to pay, one lady begrudgingly moved a sign away and took my items. When I requested for e-invoicing to my organisation, she quickly stated 'No e-invoicing, cash and carry only. Only our Bras Basah branch has e-invoicing. You can call them.' I did not want to travel further, so I paid on my own. Lady did a good job wrapping the large board and other items. Overall a pleasant experience tainted by the payment counter. I wish that the payment staff will be more willing to help out, not anticipate that I will argue with them over the e-invoicing issue, and cut out the passive-aggressive behaviour all around.

Do your due diligence in checking each and every item price tag especially small loose items, price tags are messy and wrongly placed. Price tag do not reflect actual price, if there was even any. System do not show a list of individual item prices they have scanned so have to see every item what they're scanning. Only good thing is they have a good range of products that used to be affordable for certain items.

A One-stop shop for all art and office supplies. Art Friend offers such a wide range of art and craft materials. But they don't just stop there. Anything I need for modifying stuff at home, I might be able to get it there: blades, tubes, paper, notebooks, glues, ducktape... the product line is enormous! Important thing is to either buy a lot at one shot and get free membership or to pay for membership once and enjoy the discounts following. I bring my family members to Art Friend Clementi at least once or twice a month. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly!
